Introduction:

AWS A5.7 ERCuSn-C. It is a copper-tin alloy that provides good corrosion resistance and ductility. It is used for welding base metals of steel, cast iron, copper, brass and bronze. Ideal for overlays and surfaces needing a bronze-wearing surface. It exhibits high tensile and yield strength deposits on phos-bronze materials.

Application: 

Recommend for the welding of copper with Cu-Sn alloy. Best for butt joining welding of brass with steel. Pre-heat suggested for the large size products, and pulsed argon arc welding is recommended for multilayer hardfacing on steel.
